Originally developed in the UK for pharmaceutical skin care applications, this oil is now produced on a larger commercial scale in China, for both dietary and cosmetic uses.

The oil contains between 8 & 10% Gamma Linolenic Acid along with other Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids which help maintain a good hormonal balance. Skin studies have also shown that Evening Primrose oil is effective in the treatment of various skin conditions including eczema.
